SKIN POLISHING

Microdermabrasion also known as ‘skin polishing’ in medical terminology is one of the most common Non-surgical Cosmetic procedure for Facial Rejuvenation. It is effective in reducing Fine lines, Pigmented spots & scars. It removes the old skin cells & stimulates growth of new cells & collagen in skin. Microdermabrasion is a non-surgical facial resurfacing technique performed in a series of about 6 to 10 treatments. It mechanically exfoliates the outermost layer of dead skin cells (the stratum corneum) and vacuums them away, leaving your skin feeling softer and smoother — and if done well, looking younger and more vibrant. Microdermabrasion has been shown to diminish fine lines, wrinkles, shallow acne scars, though results may vary from person to person. It may help stimulate the production of collagen, thereby helping skin rejuvenation. As age spots from photoaging and fine lines are diminished, the skin may become softer and smoother.

Removing dead skin through microdermabrasion can aid in the penetration of skincare products by up to 50% and with a more even surface to work with, it allows makeup to go on more smoothly.

Stretch marks are another thing that comes from the deeper layers of the skin. Despite that, microdermabrasion is still a good maintenance tool to keep those marks in check.

Quick Facts:
– Microdermabrasion is a process that exfoliates the skin using a gentle vacuum that brings skin into contact with the crystals.
– It can be used for various skin conditions like acne scars or to simply improve dull or rough skin.
– Microdermabrasion takes around 30-45 minutes and usually a few sessions are required for optimal results..
– Microdermabrasion is a safe and effective procedure

Microdermabrasion can be used for – Skin rejuvenation, hyperkeratosis, sun light and age damaged skin, pigmentation disorders, uneven skin, stretch marks and scars.

The Procedure:
Generally, a session of microdermabrasion of the face takes approximately 30-45 minutes. It is not painful and it may feel like you are having a facial. Prior to microdermabrasion, your face is thoroughly cleansed. The microdermabrasion head is then systematically passed over the face multiple times. Particular creams or serums are put on your face after the procedure has been completed. After microdermabrasion, your skin may appear red and this usually persists for a short time and you will notice that your skin feels soft and smooth afterwards.
